From tomorrow 29th of June to the 1st of July the Wine Street Festival Liguria da Bere gets back to La Spezia
Liguria da Bere is one of the most popular events in the summer of La Spezia as well as one of the main promotional events in the local wine production sector, putting together the Riviera producers, consumers and wine lovers.
In the very center of La Spezia city, the routes are filled with wine and food tasting stands: the best way to try food specialties and get to know local wine producers
Mussels, Focaccia, fresh pasta with pesto sauce, honey, fried anchovies, farnata and other Ligurian delicacies.are served on the street: join the party in the Corso Cavour, one of the most central streets in town, a pedestrian lane going from the city gardens to the fresh fish and food market, two of the most interesting things to see in La Spezia. As contour, meetings and insights on the topic of eating well and healthy as well as current topics such as renewable energy.
There will be 8 Ligurian DOC wines for tasting: Cinque Terre and Cinque Terre Sciacchetrà, Colli di Luni, Hills of Levanto, Gulf of Tigullio – Portofino, Ormeasco di Pornassio, Riviera di Ponente, Rossese di Dolceacqua, Val Polcevera. 4 the Ligurian Igt: Hills of the Genovesato, Colline Savonesi, Liguria di Levante, Terrazze dell’Imperiese.
Don’t Miss the Liguria da Bere Glass, the Festival’s drinking tradition
At Liguria da Bere, upon paying the fee of 10€ visitors are given a small shoulder bag to carry the Festival’s wine glass (the so-told goto in local language) and three tickets: you just need to choose the wine you want to try and show the empty glass at the stand to have it filled with their wine along with the ticket. The game ends when the three tickets are gone, but you can start it all over again until you’ve (responsably) drank the Festival over.
