La Spezia to Portovenere and Cinque Terre 2020 ferry schedule
The ferry service from La Spezia connects the city mainly with the western part of the Gulf and the Cinque Terre, and is active during spring and summer, with some exceptions for special events in other times of the year.

The island of Palmaria, the largest in Liguria is announced by the presence of the Torre Scola, an ancient fortification built on a rock from the Terrizzo tip, north of the island. After a while, behind a small promontory, you can see Portovenere with its colorful houses and the Church of San Pietro on the edge of the Gulf.
