Meet your guide in the quaint village of Ameglia to start a fantastic discovery adventure in the Montemarcello-Magra-Vara Regional Park, featuring natural beauty, history, breathtaking sea views, and endless charm, and take a break for a tasty aperitivo together.

The itinerary by e-bike connects some of the most beautiful places around the promontory named Caprione, a sort of natural border between Liguria and Tuscany with magnificent views of both marine and river landscapes. From Ameglia, a settlement that was inhabited in by the ancient Ligurians, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Magra river valley punctuated with its many fortress-villages. These are joined by a common medieval origin, as they all were funded from the migration of people who fled the ancient Roman colony of Luni, located at the estuary of the Magra river. The quaint Montemarcello town seems to owe its origins and name to the Roman consul who 155 BC. defeated the last Ligurian rebels.
From here, the main road, immersed in the Mediterranean scrub, takes us to Lerici, a place appreciated by numerous internationally renowned poets, dominated by one of the best-preserved examples of a sixteenth-century Genoese fortress, Castel San Giorgio.
